Jay Dearborn made his Olympic debut at Beijing 2022 as part of the four-man crew piloted by Taylor Austin.
After gaining valuable experience on the Olympic stage, he transitioned to the pilot seat in 2023–24, honing his driving skills on the North American Cup circuit. Dearborn earned his first podiums as a pilot in 2024–25 and made his IBSF World Cup debut behind the sled in February 2025, also competing at the IBSF World Championships. In 2025–26, he reached the podium in 12 of 14 North American Cup races across both two-man and four-man events.
