Newly formed The Great Give committee has announced a gala in support of United Way Oxford.
“Our vision for this committee is to create a collaborative, community-minded group that reimagines what fundraising can look like in Oxford County,” said Co-Chair Cassandra Benard.
The event takes place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the Oxford Auditorium in Woodstock and marks the first fundraising event hosted by the committee. Attendees will enjoy a vibrant mix of elegance and energy, including a dinner, a curated auction, a DJ, and more.
United Way Oxford is thankful for the support from the committee and community. “We are thankful for this opportunity to partner with The Great Give, and look forward to seeing how they grow and support our community in the future,” said Amanda Kreiger, Resource Development Coordinator for United Way Oxford.
“United Way Oxford’s impact touches every corner of our community, supporting local families, strengthening mental health initiatives, and providing essential resources where they are needed most. Choosing to support them was an easy and natural decision,” Committee Co-Chair Melissa MacLean said.
Tickets are available for purchase online here. Early bird pricing is available until January 31, with anyone who purchases a ticket being entered into a draw for two free tickets.
