STUFF TO DO

Today: The Ingersoll Library is hosting a Black History Month Flag Raising and Reception on Tuesday, beginning at 10 a.m. Join them at Dewan Park in Ingersoll for the "From Town to Township" Black History Month Flag Raising, with a reception to follow at the Ingersoll Library Branch.

Today: Skating is taking place at the Tillsonburg Community Centre! On Tuesdays and Thursdays, Public Skating runs from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Today: Yarn & Yack is taking place at the Norwich Library on Tuesday from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Bring your knitting, crocheting, embroidery or other crafty hobbies and enjoy creating by the fireplace with friends.

Today: Join staff from 6-7 p.m. in the Princeton Library lobby for the Princeton Hobby Lobby! Bring your favorite craft or hobby and come out for the evening to socialize and meet new local crafters and friends. They will have puzzles, yarn, and lots of books available for inspiration, as well as coffee and tea.

Today: The Woodstock Art Gallery is hosting "Resilience on Screen: Harriet + Spoken Word" on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Black History Month with a free showing of the 2019 film “Harriet” and a special spoken word presentation by Duane Kumala-Thomas, “Resilience in Black History”. Concession stand provided by Reel Treats Popcorn & Sweets. This event is for ages 13+. More details here.

Today: The Tillsonburg Horticultural Society is hosting its February Meeting on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Senior Center Auditorium at the Tillsonburg Community Center. David Gascoigne, environmentalist, conservationist, birder, and globe-trotter, will share his passion for wildlife with "Urban Birds". More details here!

Tomorrow: Community Employment Services will be at the Tavistock Library on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon and the Princeton Library from 1 to 4 p.m., where you'll have the chance to speak with a career consultant, update your resume, and learn more about training and/or apprenticeship opportunities. Tomorrow: Join the Plattsville Library on Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. for Storytime! Each week, they will read great books, sing songs, and end with a fun craft or activity. The program is geared towards children under 5.
