STUFF TO DO
Today: The Princeton Library invites you to bring your favorite craft or hobby for an evening to socialize and meet new local crafters and friends. We will have puzzles, yarn, and lots of books available for inspiration. Connect, create, and learn new skills, from 6pm - 7pm.
Today: If you need a job, or want to work - whether you're unemployed, just getting into the workforce, or are looking to transition into another role or industry, Community Employment Services is at Thamesford Library to help from 1:30pm - 4:00pm. They have a knowledgeable team with the resources to assist you in taking the first steps. Book an appointment by contacting Sam Ritchie at sritchie@cesoxford.ca.
Today: Drop-in for non-contact ball hockey for ages 15+, all skill levels welcome. You'll need a CSA approved helmet with full cage, as well as gloves, a stick and running shoes. It's happening from 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Tillsonburg Community Centre on the Memorial Area floor.
Tomorrow: Doug the Great is coming for a Juggling and Magic Show to celebrate the Summer Reading Club at the Embro Library from 1 pm - 2pm. Doug is an accomplished magician and juggler with over 40 years of experience. This program will take place in Thistle Theatre, above the library. Registration is required. Drop-ins not permitted. Tomorrow: Bring the little ones to Thamesford Library for Musical Moments with Miss Gail from 10:30 - 11:00am. Miss Gail will provide a fun morning of songs and stories. Recommended for ages 0-6.
Tomorrow: Cheesy Cow Company offers an opportunity to sample cheese on a larger scale but also something to enjoy with someone special. Select from a variety of local or international cheese, or allow the cheese mongers to surprise you. Tastings offer 4-5 different varieties of cheese and pairings such as pickles, crackers and dried or fresh fruits. It happens from 2:30pm to 4pm, and for information about booking, you can call (519) 788-7058.
