Today: Whether you're looking for your first job, searching for a new opportunity, or thinking about a career change, Community Employment Services will be at the Plattsville Library from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Their experienced team can help with everything from exploring job options to taking those important first steps toward employment. Today: Tillsonburg Library has their monthly Film for Adults at 1:00pm, and this month’s selection is the widely acclaimed Hamnet, (2025, 126 mins), an historical drama based on the 2020 book by Maggie O’Farrell, and starring Jessie Buckley in her Golden Globe and Oscar-winning performance! Admission is free; just drop in. Refreshments will be served. Adults only, please.
Today: Come out for some indoor roller skating - or roller blading - complete with music, great exercise and good times from 6:30 to 8pm at the Tillsonburg Community Centre.
Tomorrow: Drop-in to Library Park from 9:30 to 10:30 AM for special sessions of the Shake, Rattle & Read program outdoors in the sunshine, weather permitting. On inclement days, the program moves indoors in the Tillsonburg Library Program Room. Best suited for parents/caregivers with children ages 2-6 years.
Tomorrow: Film Club is happening at the Ingersoll Library. If you love watching and talking about films, each month 4 themed films will be available for the club to borrow, watch and discuss. Discussion starts at 5pm. For more information, email lheinbuck@ocl.net.
Tomorrow: If you're a foodie, you'll want to pre-register for a Korean BBQ Food Demonstration at the Harrington Library from 6 to 7:30pm. It will be a delicious and entertaining evening as Jed Lau demonstrates Korean BBQ... complete with samples! Pre-registration by calling 519-475-6909.
