STUFF TO DO
Today: The Tillsonburg Library hosts Board Games for Bored People from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. It’s a weekly drop-in where adults can sit down for board games, card games or puzzles, with something different to play each week. You don’t need to bring a group or even know what you want to play — just drop in and join the fun. The program is for ages 18 and up.
Today: Norwich Library hosts a VON Exercise Class. It's a Hybrid Standing/Seated Class from 12:15-1:15 for ages 55+ and adults with disabilities. The class is lead by a trained instructor, and you're asked to bring water and dress accordingly.
Today: If exercise in the water is more your thing, head for the shallow end of the pool for Aqua Fit from 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm. This water aerobics class improves cardiovascular fitness, builds strength and improves flexibility. It's a low impact workout for those looking to ease joint pain while moving and burning calories. A 45 minute class is followed by a 15 minute leisure swim. Parents and caregivers are welcome to bring their little one (aged 6mos to 3yrs) to any Aqua Fit class. Flotation seats are provided so that parents can participate and have their little one within arms' reach, and child participation is FREE.
Tomorrow: Looking for work, changing careers, or hoping to improve your resume and interview skills? Community Employment Services will be at the Princeton Library Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon, offering one-on-one help with job searches, resumes, training opportunities and interview preparation. Tomorrow: There's a special swim for little ones ages 3 months to 5 years from 10:30am to 11:30am at the Tillsonburg Community Centre, with toys and equipment provided. Parents or caregivers stay within arm’s reach of their young swimmers.
Tomorrow: Get moving Wednesday from 6:15 pm - 7:15 pm with Zumba — a dance-filled fitness class where you don’t need any dance experience. Just bring some energy and be ready to move! Ages 13+.
