Today: If you're looking to meet new people and build meaningful connections, come to a welcoming workshop at the Tillsonburg Library on at 3:00pm, to explore the benefits of social connection and well-being. This Pull Up a Chair: Building Connection Closer to Home event is in partnership with United Way Oxford, Southwestern Public Health and Genwell. Then, you'll have an opportunity to reconnect two weeks later, at a relaxed social gathering with good food and conversation. Come as you are. No pressure. Just connecting, conversation and community at your own pace. No registration required.
Today: Aqua Bootcamp is happening from 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm at the Tillsonburg Community Centre. It's a challenging blend of cardio drills, strength circuits, and functional training moves designed to push your limits in the pool. Using aqua dumbbells, noodles, and bodyweight exercises, this class is fast-paced, fun, and fully adaptable. Whether you’re sprinting through intervals, tackling resistance sets, or powering through core challenges, Aqua Bootcamp will leave you feeling strong and accomplished. For 13+ years and up.
Tomorrow: From 10:15 - 11:15 am, it's time for Yoga at the Tillsonburg Community Centre. This class uses a variety of yoga poses, stretching principles and movements combined with breathing and relaxation techniques to reduce muscle tension and stress. For ages 13+
Tomorrow: At the Tillsonburg Library, the kids can trade bedtime routines for an after-hours movie night. Family Movie Friday features The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, along with colouring, snacks and drinks. The whole family is welcome, but registration is required — so you'll need to sign up ahead of time, either online or by calling the library at 519-842-5571. It runs from 6 to 8 Friday night.
Tomorrow: The historic Sherbrooke Barn at the Ingersoll Cheese Museum turns into a dance floor on Friday night. It’s the second Barn Dance of the year, with a DJ playing all evening, line-dancing lessons for beginners, food available from PB’s French Fries, and a bar hosted by the Ingersoll Lions Club. It runs from 7 to 10 Friday night — and there’s no set admission price. You get in by donation.
