STUFF TO DO
Today: Tillsonburg Community Centre has Yoga from 10:15 am to 11:15 am for ages 13 and up. This class combines yoga poses, stretching, movement, breathing and relaxation techniques to help reduce muscle tension and stress.
Today: At the Norwich Library, there is a VON exercise class for adults 55 and over, and adults with disabilities. The hybrid standing and seated class takes place from 12:15 to 1:15. A trained instructor lead the class. Bring water and dress appropriately for exercise. To register, call 1-888-866-7518. For more information before registering, you can call 519-539-1231.
Today: Mom’s on the Move happens from 2pm to 3pm at Ducky Dennis Park in Burgessville. An outdoor fitness class for moms on the move, running Fridays through October 16. Coach Alysia from FCA Fitness leads a mix of strength, movement, flexibility, walking and talking. Bring yourself, your stroller, baby, light hand weights and a water bottle, and wear your runners. Participants should watch their email on the day of the program for weather-related changes or cancellation. Still space available, but you need to register here.
Tomorrow: Snakes, lizards, turtles, frogs and other reptiles and amphibians are taking over the Innerkip Library Saturday morning. Massasauga Imports will bring between six and ten live animals and talk about their biology, ecology and conservation — with a chance for audience participation and, if circumstances allow, some hands-on interaction. It runs from 11 to noon, and it's a good family outing.

Tomorrow: Need to get in the pool and burn off some energy this weekend? The pool will be divided into swimming lanes and an open leisure area Saturday from 11:30 to 1. There are also aqua bikes available in the shallow end. It’s open to ages 13 and up.
Tomorrow: Ever wonder what those symbols on old gravestones actually mean? Saturday’s tour at Annandale explores the stories behind designs like weeping willows, doves and clasped hands, and how gravestone art changed over the years. A good one for history buffs — or anyone who's ever walked through an old cemetery and wondered about the people buried there.
