STUFF TO DO
Today: Mom’s on the Move is a chance for you to grab your stroller and join Coach Alysia for an outdoor fitness class with movement, strength and time to connect with other moms. Happening from 2pm to 3pm at Ducky Dennis Park in Burgessville, weather permitting. You can register here.
Today: What Will You Build? The LEGO is ready. All that’s missing is your imagination. Drop in from 2pm to 5 pm at the Burgessville Library.
Today: All ages are welcome for an afternoon of skating at the Community Skate. Bring your own skates and enjoy some time on the ice with family and friends. From 3:30pm to 4:50 p.m.
Tomorrow: Young players can take part in a doubles pickleball tournament at Tillsonburg Community Centre from 9am until Noon, with age groups for 10–12, 13–15 and 16–18. Round-robin games determine the seeding before an elimination bracket crowns the champions. Players register individually, and name their partner. The cost is $16.70 per person, and everyone taking part is eligible for prize draws.
Tomorrow: At the Tillsonburg Community Centre, there's an Adult Lane & Leisure Swim from 11:30am to 1pm, and ages 13 and up can get some pool time, with lanes for swimming, and an open leisure area. Aqua bikes are also available in the shallow end.
Tomorrow: Take a Halloween-themed walk through downtown Tillsonburg, with the Spooky Story Stroll, starting at the Tillsonburg library and following the pages of Halloween is Coming! by Cal Everett, in storefront windows along Broadway. The stroll runs through October 31st, and ends at the Tillsonburg Early ON centre. Costumes are encouraged, and you can send the library a photo from your walk to tillsonburglibrary@ocl.net.
