Today: A free Learning About Memory Loss seminar is being hosted at the Tillsonburg Library on Monday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. for people who may be worried about their own or someone else’s memory. The seminar covers topics, including normal changes in memory and thinking, mild cognitive impairment and early-stage dementia, recognizing the symptoms, strategies for brain health and planning ahead.
Today: Skating is back at the Tillsonburg Community Centre! On Monday, it's Parent & Tot Skate from 4 to 5 p.m.
Tomorrow: Skating is taking place at the Tillsonburg Community Centre! On Tuesday's and Thursday's, Public Skating runs from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Tomorrow: Community Employment Services will be at the Thamesford Library on Tuesday from 1:30 to 4 p.m., where you'll have the chance to speak with a career consultant, update your resume, and learn more about training and/or apprenticeship opportunities. More details can be found here.
Tomorrow: Yarn & Yack is taking place at the Norwich Library on Tuesday from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Bring your knitting, crocheting, embroidery or other crafty hobbies and enjoy creating by the fireplace with friends.
Tomorrow: Join staff from 6-7 p.m. in the Princeton Library lobby for the Princeton Hobby Lobby! Bring your favorite craft or hobby and come out for the evening to socialize and meet new local crafters and friends. They will have puzzles, yarn, and lots of books available for inspiration, as well as coffee and tea.
