The Bike Rodeo in Tillsonburg takes place on Saturday at the J.L. Scott McLean Community Outdoor Recreation Pad, aimed at teaching kids bike safety with activities for different ages. Participants can win a free bike from Canadian Tire, and it moves indoors if it rains.
A family-friendly event is rolling into town this weekend to help kids build confidence on two wheels.
The Kids Bike Rodeo takes place on Saturday May 9th, from 10 a.m. to noon, offering children a chance to learn and practice safe bike handling and basic road safety skills in a fun, supervised setting.
Kids aged 5 and up can take part in the main activities, while younger children under 5 can join a Preschool Mini Rodeo designed just for them.
Participants will also be entered into a draw for a free bike, donated by Canadian Tire in Tillsonburg.
If weather becomes an issue, the event will move indoors to the Community Arena at the Tillsonburg Community Centre, with staff on site to guide families.
Organizers say the goal is simple: help kids ride safely, gain confidence, and have fun doing it.
