The Town of Tillsonburg is in search of the Official TillsonBURGer as part of Party Till the Cows Come Home.
It's time for Tillsonburg's burger creators to step up and show their culinary skills and creativity!
The Town of Tillsonburg has started a search for the Official TillsonBURGer, as part of Party Till the Cows Come Home.
As well as celebrating some local flavour, it's a chance to for licensed local food vendors and restaurants to boost their business, to be crowned Tillsonburg’s Best Burger, and take home the Golden Cowbell Trophy.
Participants can enter by creating a signature TillsonBURGer, and featuring at least one locally sourced ingredient - or demonstrate a clear connection to Tillsonburg through the burger’s ingredients, name, or theme.
The competition is open to all Tillsonburg restaurants and licensed food vendors.
The deadline to register is Friday, July 24.
The judging for the competition will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 8, on the front lawn of the Annandale National Historic Site. Community members are encouraged to come out, cheer on their favourites, and be part of the excitement as Tillsonburg's Official TillsonBURGer is crowned.
