Dozens of 4-H clubs across Ontario are receiving a boost thanks to the 2025 FCC 4-H Club Fund, helping young people build leadership skills and hands-on experience in agriculture and their communities.
In total, 57 clubs in Ontario received grants of up to $500 through the program. The funding helps offset program costs, support club activities, and enhance learning opportunities for 4-H members.
4-H Canada CEO Christina Franc said the long-standing partnership with Farm Credit Canada (FCC) plays an important role in strengthening local clubs and volunteers.
“Through the FCC 4-H Club Fund, volunteers are better equipped to create engaging, safe, and inclusive spaces where young people can build confidence and leadership skills,” Franc said.
FCC Chief Purpose Officer Todd Klink added that supporting youth at the community level is essential to the future of Canadian agriculture.
Here in Oxford County, four local clubs were among the 2025 recipients:
- Oxford Cloverbud 4-H Club -2 (Woodstock)
- Community 4-H Club (Woodstock)
- Hickson 4-H Club (Woodstock)
- Summer Supper Club (Tillsonburg)
For more than 100 years, 4-H Canada has helped young Canadians “Learn To Do By Doing,” reaching more than 19,000 members nationwide with the support of thousands of volunteers.
