Those in Woodstock and Ingersoll are being invited to take part in First Responders Month
Families in Oxford County can get up close with real fire trucks and meet local first responders at Firehouse Subs Touch-the-Truck events.
The interactive, educational events are part of Firehouse Subs’ nationwide campaign celebrating First Responders Month and National Fire Prevention Week.
In Woodstock, the event takes place at 383 Norwich Ave. from 12 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, while in Ingersoll, residents can stop by the 178 Culloden Rd. location during the same hours.
Guests will have the chance to climb aboard fire trucks and emergency vehicles, meet firefighters, and learn important fire safety tips.
The initiative is part of Firehouse Subs’ ongoing mission to support first responders through the Public Safety Foundation of Canada, which has donated more than $5 million in lifesaving equipment across the country.
