Twas the Night Before Christmas promises laughter, music, and audience interaction.
Theatre Tillsonburg is kicking off its 2025-2026 season with a lively and heartwarming family show, Ken Ludwig’s Twas the Night Before Christmas. Co-directed by Jennifer Anger-Jull and Mike Jull, the production promises laughter, music, and audience interaction.
Mike describe the show as fast-paced, funny, and full of surprises - including sword fights, chase scenes, Santa’s workshop, and even an airplane.
With only five actors playing ten different characters, the show relies on quick costume changes, high energy, and plenty of audience engagement. Jennifer explained the set was also a challenge as it too needs to change at a high pace.
Running from November 20th to 23rd and November 27th to 30th, the play includes Saturday matinees and evening performances designed for family convenience. Each performance will feature a special guest appearance afterward.
The cast features Pete Matthews, Angela Carvalho, Braeden Fitzpatrick, Brent Vanhooren, and newcomer Tori Brenner, a local high school student.
Featuring colourful sets, playful lighting, and moments where actors step right into the crowd, Twas the Night Before Christmas is designed to spark laughter and wonder in equal measure.
Tickets are available now at TheatreTillsonburg.com. Families are encouraged to book early for this festive production that brings a joyful start to the holiday season.
