Tillsonburg company recognized for growth and innovation
Two brothers came to Canada from England and built a business from the ground up — starting with rubber mats for dairy farms. Ross and Ben Graham had been working in the equestrian industry back home, but when they arrived here, they discovered the market was very different.
So they adapted.
They started selling and installing rubber mats in Ontario barns, then moved from cutting everything by hand to manufacturing their own products. Eventually, a chance opportunity in the automotive industry opened a whole new market.
Today, Legend Rubber makes flooring and fleet products for customers around the world — while continuing to serve dairy and beef farmers here in North America. The company was recognized last week with the New Industrial Investment award at the Tillsonburg Chamber Awards.
Vanessa Love, Inside Sales Support for Legend, says the company is still looking ahead.
And that's where the story gets interesting — because for Legend Rubber, the next chapter is already underway.
