What's Good in Tillsonburg? New additions to TurtleFest spark excitement in the community

Now in its 13th year, TurtleFest features more than 140 vendors, entertainment and attractions, and runs Friday through Saturday, concluding with a performance by Canadian country singer and songwriter Nate Haller.

The Tillsonburg Farmers' Market is joining TurtleFest for the first time this year, expanding the community festival's lineup of family-friendly activities.

The market will operate Saturday morning on Bridge Street as part of the two-day event, set for June 19th and 20th, which also features activities at Annandale National Historic Site, The Station Arts Centre and throughout downtown.

While Saturday is the main attraction, TurtleFest Chairperson Mark Renaud says that Friday's activities shouldn't be forgotten.

More than 140 vendors, food trucks, kids activities, live entertainment and reptile exhibits will fill Broadway on Saturday, while Annandale will offer family activities beginning Friday evening and continuing through Saturday.

So, what's TurtleFest all about? Renaud explains.

With so much to look forward to, Renaud says ensuring the event remains free to attend is essential.

The festival officially opens Friday afternoon and concludes Saturday night with a performance by Canadian country singer and songwriter Nate Haller.

Now in its 13th year, TurtleFest has grown into Tillsonburg's signature community celebration.
