Discover this year’s Winter Exhibit at Fanshawe Pioneer Village: Naakonigewnan ezhi-zhitoong: Wampum and Treaties of London & Middlesex County.
A brand new exhibit about the history of London and Middlesex County is set to debut during March Break at Fanshawe Pioneer Village in London.
That was Stephanie Leys, Collection Coordinator at Fanshawe Pioneer Village.
Leys said none of this would be possible without the support of Indigenous people.
Leys says a wampum is something everyone can enjoy.
If you're unable to come during March Break, there are still opportunities to see and experience the village, with winter walks Tuesday to Friday from 10-3 until March 20th.
Admission is by drop-in or donation, and everyone is welcome.
