What's Good in Tillsonburg? Step back in time for a spooky good time at Annandale National Historic Site

Enjoy a one-of-a-kind Halloween experience.

Families in Tillsonburg are invited to enjoy a one-of-a-kind Halloween experience inside one of Canada’s most beautiful historic homes.

Annandale National Historic Site was the retirement home of E.D. and Mary Ann Tillson was Tillsonburg’s first mayor, and his father George was the town’s founder. Curator Kate Bakos tells us more.

She added that she can't speak highly enough of how beautiful the home is and that it's the "gem of Tillsonburg."

For Halloween, guests of all ages are invited to explore the stunning Victorian-era home while enjoying a festive evening of fun.

Bakos said strong community support and a great turnout from last year inspired the event’s return — and while she doesn’t believe Annandale is haunted, she admits there’s still some ghostly fun ahead.

Community event's like this are so reliant on volunteers and Bakos is grateful for the support.

Annandale will open its doors for “Halloween at Annandale” on Friday, October 31st, from 4 to 7 p.m. Bring the family and see if the old house holds any lingering spirits of its own.
