Jayden King and his Tillsonburg curling team reached the playoffs at the 2026 Montana’s Brier in St. John’s, gaining memorable experience competing against top Canadian teams like Brad Jacobs and Brad Gushue. Despite the excitement of national attention and large crowds, King says it feels good to be back home.
The bright lights of the 2026 Montana's Brier in St. Johns, Newfoundland did not faze Jayden King and his team from Tillsonburg, as they pushed their way into the playoffs and matched up against some of Canada's best curlers.

King says that the experience is one he and his teammates will never forget.
King says that he particularly enjoyed playing some of Canada's best in Brad Jacobs (Team Canada), and Brad Gushue (Team Newfoundland and Labrador).
While the national media attention and big crowds were fun for everyone involved, King says its good to be home.
The 2027 Brier is set to take place in Saskatoon.
