Proceeds will support local families through the Kindred Foundation, a charity funding cancer research and programs across Canada.
Runners of all ages and abilities are invited to lace up their shoes for the annual Tillsonburg Running with the Bulls, on Saturday, July 18.
The community event features certified 10-kilometre and 5-kilometre races, a 1-kilometre Kiddie Bull Charge, and a free Memorial Walk.
Now in its third year, organizer Tamara Bull explains her inspiration for the event:
Bull also says it's not just any race...
Race kit pickup begins on race day at 6:30 a.m. at 281 Tillson Avenue, and all races take place on the Trans Canada Trail, beginning from the Tillson Avenue entrance across from the event site.
Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers in each age division, with cash prizes also awarded to the top finishers in both the 5K and 10K events.
Proceeds from the event will assist children, adolescents and young adults in their battle against cancer through Kindred Foundation, ensuring that the funds raised locally will first benefit families in the local community.
Organizers are reminding participants that pets are not permitted at the event.
