The Tillsonburg District Chamber of Commerce is calling on the community to recognize outstanding local businesses and leaders as nominations open for the 2026 Awards of Excellence.
Nominations officially opened March 10 and will remain open until April 10, with winners to be announced at a gala on September 24. This year’s event is expected to carry special significance as the Chamber celebrates its 50th anniversary.
Chamber President Lindsey Tribble says it’s a chance to recognize businesses in the community.
Six award categories are available, including Business Improvement, Community Service, Employer of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Environmental Sustainability, and the Positive Change Award.
Tribble says nominations are open to everyone, not just Chamber members.
One unique category is the Positive Change Award, which honours a young individual making a difference in Tillsonburg through leadership, volunteerism, or innovation.
Tribble says winners often feel both surprised and honoured.
Community members can submit nominations online through the Chamber’s website.
