What's Good in Tillsonburg? Tillsonburg Chamber President Lindsay Tribble wins town's volunteer award

Lindsay Tribble says volunteering is something everyone should consider

Tillsonburg and District Chamber of Commerce President and longtime community volunteer Lindsay Tribble has been honoured with the Town of Tillsonburg's Volunteer Achievement Award, recognizing her dedication, generosity, and lasting impact on the community.

Tribble has become known as someone who quietly steps up whenever help is needed, donating countless hours to local organizations and projects. She says volunteering is something everyone should think about.

The recognition came as a surprise. Tribble says she didn't know who had nominated her for the award.

Along with leading the Tillsonburg and District Chamber of Commerce, Tribble serves on the Tillsonburg Hospital Foundation Board of Directors and has volunteered with its Taste of Summer committee. Over the years, she's also served on the Town's Economic Development Committee and Hydro Sub-Committee, and helped shape several community projects, including the original dog park and the J.L. Scott McLean Recreation Pad.

Lindsay Tribble is described as a tireless advocate who is always willing to share her time, skills, and heart to make Tillsonburg a better place to live.

Asked what advice she would give to someone thinking about getting involved in their own community, Tribble says the first step is often the simplest.

From local organizations to community projects, Lindsay Tribble's years of service are proof that one person's willingness to give back can leave a lasting mark on an entire community.
