The next local blood donation event is at the Tillsonburg Community Centre on Friday, August 21st.
Tillsonburg residents have an opportunity to make a real difference this summer, and potentially help save a life.
Canadian Blood Services is encouraging both new and returning donors to roll up their sleeves, with every blood donation helping patients who rely on lifesaving care.
Jill Gemmiti, Community Development Manager with Canadian Blood Services, says every donation counts, while some blood types are especially needed.
She says the need for blood never takes a break, with donations required every day to support patients in hospitals across the country.
For those who have never donated before, Canadian Blood Services is also hoping more people will consider becoming first-time donors and making blood donation a regular part of giving back.
Tillsonburg residents can help by donating at the next local blood donation event at the Tillsonburg Community Centre on Friday, August 21st.
