Patrick Buyse says local customers make the recognition meaningful
Sometimes recognition is as much about the people walking through the door as it is about the business receiving the award.
Tillsonburg Tire & Service Ltd. received the Business Improvement Award at last week's Tillsonburg District Chamber of Commerce Awards of Excellence.
The award recognizes a business that demonstrates a commitment to improving the way it operates, including through training, new technology, best practices, greater efficiency or other investments.
Managing partner Patrick Buyse says the recognition makes the local connection even more meaningful.
And that may be the nicest part of this award: recognition for the work they've already done, along with a reminder that there's always room to keep improving and expanding.
