Police recovered about $550,000 worth of stolen vehicles and equipment after investigating the theft of a semi-truck and trailer from Woodstock on May 17th.
Police have recovered approximately $550,000 worth of stolen vehicles and equipment following an investigation into the theft of a semi-truck and trailer stolen from Woodstock on May 17th.
According to the Woodstock Police Service, members of the Street Crime Unit initially located the stolen semi-truck and trailer, which led investigators to execute a search warrant at a commercial property in Cambridge.
During the search, officers recovered a significant amount of additional stolen property, including one trailer, ten motorcycles, and eight ATV's.
Police estimate the total value of the recovered vehicles and equipment at approximately $550,000.
The Woodstock Police Service Auto Theft Unit continues to investigate the case and says efforts are ongoing to locate and recover any additional stolen vehicles connected to the investigation.
