Work on the Kinsmen Bridge continues to move ahead steadily.
Crews are now in the process of assembling the beams that will form the new steel pier structures. In the weeks ahead, these piers are scheduled to be lifted and set onto the newly constructed pier caps—an important step forward in the project.
Shortly after, installation of the upper bridge components is expected to begin.
The Town of Tillsonburg has gone on the record stating it is aware that the updated timeline has caused frustration, and it appreciates the community’s patience and understanding as this critical work progresses. The bridge remains an active construction zone, and public access is not permitted.
