Fanshawe College is suspending an additional nine programs due to declining international student enrollment, which is expected to drop by about 18 percent this fall. Students affected by the cuts will be offered alternative program options where possible as the college works to restore financial stability.
Due to a continued steady decline in applicants, Fanshawe College will be dropping an additional 9 programs following the previous 50 due to a lack of international enrollments.
With an estimated drop of 18 percent in the approaching fall semester in international enrollments alone, Fanshawe College aims to eliminate this deficit in an effort to restore financial stability.
Students who are affected by the suspension of these programs will be offered alternatives where applicable.
