Motorists in St. Thomas might be impacted by road construction
The Ontario Ministry of Transportation is advising motorists of Highway 3 closures in St. Thomas as work begins to support the future twinning of the highway.
Starting Monday, Highway 3 will be fully closed between First Avenue and Centennial Avenue, including select interchange ramps. A second phase beginning September 1 will shift closures westward between Wellington Road and First Avenue.
Signed detours will be in place, and drivers should expect delays and increased traffic on surrounding roads throughout the construction period.
