Ingersoll Community Foundation invests nearly $400K back into community in 2025

More than $60,000 was also awarded through the Foundation’s FEATS program.

The Ingersoll Community Foundation (ICF) is celebrating a major year of giving, contributing $395,923 to local families, students, and charities in 2025.

The funding supported a wide range of community initiatives, including the Alexandra Hospital Foundation’s OneChart Campaign, United Way Oxford’s Light House transitional housing program, STICH Supper Club, Stevenson Children’s Camp and the collaborative FOOD Project. Additional help was provided to families in need through partnerships with the Kiwanis Club, Rotary Club and Ingersoll Support Services Incorporated.

More than $60,000 was also awarded through the Foundation’s FEATS (Financial Educational Assistance for Training and Scholarship) program, helping students and mid-career residents pursue post-secondary education and re-certification.

John Masters, a former Ingersoll resident who donated $20,000 in matching funds for FEATS, said giving back was important to him. “The community I grew up in gave me so much,” he said, adding the program provides real mentorship and opportunity.

Joe Douglas, Executive Director of Stevenson Children’s Camp, said the Foundation’s subsidy funding ensured financial barriers did not prevent children from attending camp.

Founded in 1991, the ICF continues to connect local donors with causes that improve quality of life in Ingersoll.
