Oxford O-P-P say officers were conducting general patrol around 10 p.m. Monday, August 24th, when they stopped a vehicle travelling below the speed limit.
Police say the driver was suspected of being impaired.
The driver has been charged with failure or refusal to comply with a demand and driving with a display screen visible to the driver.
A 90-day Administrative Driver's Licence Suspension and a seven-day vehicle impoundment were initiated.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on October 13th.
The O-P-P remind motorists that impaired, aggressive or careless driving can be reported by calling 911 in an emergency. Non-emergency complaints can be made to the O-P-P at 1-888-310-1122.
