Police are investigating a single fatal motor vehicle collision.
On Monday, June 22nd just before 9am, Oxford OPP along with Fire and Paramedic Services responded to a single motor vehicle collision involving a pickup truck on Mount Elgin Road just west of Dereham Line in South-West Oxford. It was determined that a pickup truck left the roadway and collided with a concrete bridge embankment. The driver, a 73-year-old of Tillsonburg suffered serious life-threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene. OPP West Region Traffic Incident Management Enforcement Team is assisting with the investigation. Anyone with information is being asked to contacted police or Crime Stoppers.
