Norfolk County drug investigation leads to arrest, seizures in Brant County

A Norfolk County drug investigation led to the arrest of a 38-year-old Brant County resident and the seizure of suspected drugs, weapons, ammunition, cash and drug-related items during searches in Brant County. Police also recovered four stolen vehicles and laid multiple charges.

A months-long drug investigation that began in Norfolk County has led to an arrest and the seizure of drugs, weapons, ammunition, cash and stolen vehicles in Brant County.

On June 2nd, Ontario Provincial Police officers searched several properties in Brant County as part of the investigation. One person was arrested without incident.

Police say they found suspected illegal drugs, prohibited weapons, ammunition, drug-related items and cash. Four stolen vehicles were also recovered.

A 38-year-old Brant County resident is now facing multiple criminal charges.

The investigation involved officers from several OPP units serving Haldimand, Norfolk, Brant and Oxford counties.

Police have not released further details about the charges or the value of the items seized. The case remains under investigation.
