Residents trying to contact Norfolk County may experience difficulties reaching the municipality’s main phone line.
County officials say the 519-426-5870 number is currently experiencing intermittent service disruptions, which may prevent some callers from getting through.
For those unable to connect, the County is asking residents to use alternative contact numbers.
During regular business hours, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., callers can dial 226-NORFOLK (226-667-3655). For after-hours emergencies related to services such as roads, water, sewer, parks, or facilities, residents are advised to call 1-877-298-5888.
The County has apologized for the inconvenience and says work is underway to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Officials are thanking residents for their patience while service is restored.
