Officials say the work will focus on the Big Creek crossing.
Norfolk County is preparing for a major bridge rehabilitation project along 6th Concession Road near Walsingham.
Officials say the work will focus on the Big Creek crossing, with upgrades including a new bridge deck, barrier replacements, concrete repairs, and road restoration.
Construction is expected to begin the week of May 11 and continue through early September, with the road closed at the bridge and limited to local traffic in surrounding areas.
Norfolk County says a detour will be in place and the project, awarded to Urbanlink Civil Ltd., carries a budget of just over $1.6 million.
