A 48-year-old Oxford County resident suffered life-threatening injuries after a sedan left Bell Mill Side Road near Courtland, entered a field, and rolled over on June 12th. The Norfolk County OPP and the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement Team are investigating and seeking witnesses or dashcam footage.
A 48-year-old Oxford County resident suffered life-threatening injuries following a rollover collision near Courtland that is now under investigation by the Norfolk County OPP.
Emergency crews, including Norfolk County OPP, paramedics, and firefighters, responded to Bell Mill Side Road at about 7:19 p.m. on Friday, June 12th.
Police said a sedan was travelling on Bell Mill Side Road when it left the roadway and entered a field, rolling over before coming to rest.
The driver was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries, while a passenger suffered minor injuries.
Bell Mill Side Road was closed between 3rd Concession Road and Goshen Road for several hours as investigators examined the scene. The roadway has since reopened.
The West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) Team is assisting with the investigation. Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash camera footage or information that may help is asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
