Oxford County council will review updates on drinking water system performance and public engagement efforts during its meeting on May 13.
A new report shows Oxford County’s drinking water systems continue to perform at a high level. The County’s 2025 Annual Drinking Water System Summary Reports now include the results of all 17 required inspections. The overall average compliance rating across the systems sits at 99.5 per cent.
Several systems received perfect scores, including Bright, Dereham Centre, Tavistock, Tillsonburg and Woodstock. The Oxford South system received a 97 per cent rating.
Council will also receive an update on the County’s communication and engagement activities. Staff say communications teams supported hundreds of projects and requests throughout 2025.
According to the report, more than 400 design products were created over the year. The County also saw more than 425,000 visits to the Speak Up, Oxford! public engagement platform and recorded just over four million views across its social media channels.
