A 51-year-old Oxford County resident has been charged after an alleged assault and property damage incident at a Main Street business in Delhi on Saturday. Ontario Provincial Police say no injuries were reported, and the accused is scheduled to appear in court in September.
A 51-year-old Oxford County resident is facing charges following an alleged assault at a business in Delhi over the weekend.
Members of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting an assault at a business on Main Street on Saturday.
Officials say an interaction between a customer and an employee inside the store escalated, resulting in the customer allegedly assaulting the employee and causing damage to property within the business.
Police said no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
A 51-year-old individual from Oxford County was arrested and charged in connection with the investigation. The accused is scheduled to appear in court in mid-September.
Police have not released the name of the business or additional details regarding the charges.
