Oxford County is inviting residents and businesses to attend a public information meeting on the planned Homelessness Support Centre at 808 Dundas Street in Woodstock.
The meeting will take place Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m. at South Gate Centre’s Boughtflower Room, located at 191 Old Wellington St. South.
County staff will provide an overview of the project and answer questions related to operations, safety, security and other community concerns. Residents will also have an opportunity to provide feedback.
Expected to open in spring 2028, the Homelessness Support Centre will operate as a 24/7 emergency shelter with 55 beds, meal services, laundry facilities, secure storage, day programming and on-site support services for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
Those unable to attend can learn more or submit comments through Oxford County’s Speak Up, Oxford! public engagement platform.
