Oxford County is inviting residents to learn more about an upcoming bridge replacement project in Norwich.
A public information meeting will be held April 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Norwich Community Centre, where attendees can review plans and speak with engineering staff and consultants.
The project involves the full replacement of the Stover Street South bridge, including the deck and supporting structure. Construction is scheduled to begin in early May and continue through October.
During that time, the bridge will be fully closed to vehicles and pedestrians. Oxford Road 59 will also be closed to through traffic between Front Street and Carman Street, with access limited to local residents, businesses, and emergency services.
Detour routes will be in place for drivers, as well as pedestrians and cyclists.
