On Monday, June 29th, Oxford Road 19 between Church Street and Bullock Street in Otterville will be closed in both directions to allow for Stage 1 girder installation as part of an ongoing bridge rehabilitation project.
The closure is the second of four planned one-day shutdowns required to complete Stage 1 and Stage 2 girder removal and installation work. Once the one-day closure is complete, the bridge is expected to reopen to a single lane with alternating traffic while construction continues.
During the closure, drivers will be detoured via Dover Street, Cornell Road, and Middletown Line.
Officials advise drivers to plan for delays and allow extra travel time while the work is underway.
