One individual is deceased after crashing a scooter-style e-bike into a pole, in the Town of Ingersoll. OPP tell Oxfordtoday that on Friday morning around 1am (April 10), they along with Fire, and Emergency Medical Services responded to a collision on Charles Street East. An individual was operating a scooter-style e-bike when they crashed into a pole.
A 56-year-old resident of Ingersoll was transported to hospital where they were pronounced deceased. Charles Street East between Beachville Road and Taylor Street was closed for several hours but has since reopened. Police continue to investigate the collision. Investigators are asking residents and along with members of the motoring public to check their security surveillance or dash camera footage in the event that they captured the collision.
