Norfolk County OPP are asking for the public's help following a theft of aluminum hydro wire in Simcoe.
Officers responded to a report of the theft from a property on Hunt Street South at approximately 11:59 a.m. on Monday, July 20. Investigators determined the theft occurred sometime between Thursday, July 2, and Wednesday, July 15, when one or more unknown individuals stole approximately $20,000 worth of aluminum hydro wire. The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with information that could assist police is asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP.
