OPP say two people took a black electric scooter from Kent Street South before fleeing the area
Norfolk County OPP are asking for the public's help identifying two people in connection with the theft of an electric scooter in Simcoe.
Police say the theft happened around 2:12 a.m. Wednesday, August 19, at a location on Kent Street South. Two unidentified people reportedly took an unattended black GOTRAX electric scooter before leaving southbound on Kent Street South.
The first person is described as a Caucasian woman, approximately 5'8" to 5'10" tall, wearing a purple sweater. The second is described as a Caucasian man, approximately six feet tall and wearing all-black clothing.
The investigation remains ongoing.
