The advisory affects King Street West between Ingersoll Street South and Oakwood Street.
Public Health says the advisory is a precaution due to the potential for contamination of the drinking water system, and all affected users have been notified. Until the advisory is lifted, residents should bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before drinking, preparing infant formula or juice, brushing teeth, washing raw foods, or making ice. The advisory will remain in effect until bacteriological testing confirms the water is safe.
