Families are invited to celebrate the end of summer this weekend at the Summer Send-Off Spectacular at Memorial Park.
The event will feature the debut of the new Backyard Games program, which is set to launch this fall. From 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, September 6, families can try out a variety of backyard games, including cornhole, ladder ball, paddle smash, Kan Jam and Granny Pants.
Everyone who takes part in the games will receive a ballot for a chance to win one of two prize packs.
Following the games, the evening will continue with family-friendly entertainment, food vendors and a spectacular fireworks display at dusk.
The Summer Send-Off Spectacular gets underway at 5 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Park. Organizers are encouraging families to come out, enjoy the final days of summer and discover a new way to have fun together this fall.
