United Way Oxford’s Supplies4Students program has wrapped up for 2026, providing back-to-school support to 1,355 students from 652 families across 39 schools.
Through donations from community members, businesses, churches, labour groups and employee groups, eligible students received $50 gift cards for Giant Tiger, Dollarama or Staples to purchase the school supplies they need.
The program is designed to help ease the financial pressure of back-to-school shopping while giving families the flexibility to choose supplies that best meet their individual needs.
In addition to the gift cards, donated backpacks and school supplies distributed through local agencies helped provide support to more than 200 additional students across Oxford County.
United Way Oxford and its Supplies4Students partners are thanking the Thames Valley District School Board, London District Catholic School Board and Conseil scolaire catholique Providence for helping distribute the gift cards.
The organizations are also wishing students and school staff across Oxford County a successful 2026-27 school year.news1 Moved File from Markets\ON West\Holding to Markets\ON West\Daily Stories @ 09/04/26 04:29 AM
