Today: Public skating is on at the Tillsonburg Community Centre, from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
Today: An evening of poetry in celebration of National Poetry Month at Commonplace Books in Ingersoll, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Featuring 15-minute readings from headlining poets Emily De Angelis, Nathaniel Luscombe, Irina Moga, and Mary Anne Griffiths and Suzanne Craig-Whytock, followed by a short Q&A. After a brief break, the mic opens to community members and books will be available for purchase and signing.
Tomorrow: Step into the Bracelet & Keychain Factory at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, where creativity is in full swing! Kids will learn to design, create, and personalize their very own bracelets and keychains. Registration for this program is required. Please contact the Tillsonburg Community Centre to register.
Tomorrow: Step up to the plate for a one-of-a-kind experience in Beachville, ON - home of the first recorded baseball game in North America! Enjoy a guided tour of our baseball exhibit, craft your very own handmade baseball, and put your creation to the test right on our historic grounds. This event runs from 10 a.m. to noon at the Beachville District Museum.
This Weekend: The Charity Purse and Pie Auction is taking place on Sunday at the Aylmer Royal Canadian Legion Branch 81 from 1:30 pm to 5 p.m. All proceeds support local kids! Featuring new and gently used purses. Four purses will have a gift card valued between $25 and $100. 80 purses will be auctioned off, with other baked goods available as well! Paddles are $2 at the door and you must have one to bid.
