Today: Community Employment Services is at Thamesford Library from 1:30pm to 4pm, so if you need a job, or want to work, regardless of whether you're unemployed, just getting into the workforce, or already have a job and looking to transition into another role or industry, they are there to help. You can speak with a career consultant and get connected with local employers, update your resume and receive coaching on industry standards, learn more about training and/or apprenticeship opportunities, and practice interview skills, gain confidence, and ease anxiety. Today: After School Hangout: Spooky Slime! is happening from 4pm to 5pm at the Tavistock Library. It's best suited for ages 6 to 13. (Please arrive by 4pm; participants will not be admitted after 4:10pm.) You can register here or call 519-655-3013.
Today: If half an hour is about all the free time you have, there’s a fitness class from 5:30pm to 6pm built around exactly that. Blast Class at Tillsonburg Community Centre combines high-intensity interval training with muscle conditioning. It's a 30-minute workout designed to get you moving without taking over your evening, and for ages 13 and up.
Tomorrow: Tillsonburg Library, has Shake, Rattle and Read! in the Program Room from 9:30am to 10:30am. Songs, stories, movement and a craft help build early literacy skills. Best suited for children ages 2–6 with a parent or caregiver.
Tomorrow: Plattsville Library features the Hang Out Club from 3:30pm to 4:30pm. It's a drop-in after-school craft program, featuring creative activities, STEM challenges and experiments. There's no registration required.
Tomorrow: Tillsonburg Community Centre has ZUMBA from 6:15pm to 7:15pm. A fun-filled dance fitness class, with easy-to-follow moves. No dance experience needed. For ages 13+.
