Three people were arrested in Woodstock after a police drug trafficking investigation led to a search warrant on Ferguson Drive, resulting in multiple drug and firearm-related charges. Officers seized a loaded handgun, conducted energy weapons, over $14,000 in cash, and cocaine.
Three people are facing multiple drug and firearm-related charges following a police investigation into suspected trafficking activity in Woodstock.
According to the Woodstock Police Service, the Street Crime Unit (SCU) launched an investigation dubbed Project Eldorado after observing what officers believed to be drug trafficking in the city.
On April 23rd, 2026, police executed a search warrant at a residence in the area of Ferguson Drive. The operation involved the SCU, Emergency Response Unit (ERU), and uniform patrol officers.
As a result of the search, two 21-year-old men from Woodstock and a 19-year-old woman from Strathroy were arrested. All three have been jointly charged with several offences, including possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, multiple weapons offences, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and several firearm-related charges involving a prohibited or restricted weapon.
In addition, one of the 21-year-old men faces an extra charge of trafficking in cocaine.
Police say the search led to the seizure of a loaded handgun, two conducted energy weapons, more than $14,000 in cash, and a quantity of cocaine with an estimated street value of $3,500.
The accused individuals are expected to appear in court at a later date.
